A hilarious story is going viral today that is sure to bring a smile to your face!

A 10 year-old boy was failing math, and his parents tried everything to help him from tutors to hypnosis, but nothing worked. Finally, following the advice of a friend, they decided to enroll their son in a private Catholic school.

After the boy got home from his first day of school, the parents were stunned when he walked in the front door with a stern, focused and very determined expression on his face. Walking right past them, the boy went to his room and closed the door.

For the next two hours, the boy toiled away in his room with math books strewn about his desk and the surrounding floor. He came out just to eat dinner, and after he had finished, he went back to his room to study feverishly until bedtime.

The boy kept doing this every day until it was time for the first quarter’s report card. On that day, the boy walked in with his unopened report card, laid it on the table, and went to his room.

When his mother opened it, she was amazed to see a large red “A” under the subject of Math. Overjoyed, she grabbed the boy’s father and they went to his room to congratulate him.

“Was it the nuns that did it?” the father asked. The boy responded by saying, “No.”

“Was it the one-to-one tutoring? The peer-mentoring?”

“No.”

“The textbooks? The teachers? The curriculum?”

“No”, said the son. “On that first day, when I walked in the front door and saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I KNEW they were serious!”
