Marshall is a little boy who has been obsessed with the Queen’s Guard virtually since he was born. Since his family lives near Windsor Castle, Marshall sees members of the guard all the time, so it’s no wonder that he developed an affinity for them!

Marshall even has his own guardsman uniform that he loves to wear as he pretends he’s in the Queen’s Guard himself. How cute is that?!

On Marshall’s fourth birthday, his mum decided to take him to Windsor Castle so that he could watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony himself. Unsurprisingly, the excited little boy decided to wear his own uniform to the occasion.

After they got to the castle, Marshall stood near a doorway where the British Queen’s Coldstream Guards would be marching through. As soon as they got close, Marshall started saluting the guards. Dressed just like them, Marshall looked like he really was a member of the Queen’s Guard!

The guards ended up right past the saluting Marshall and walked through the doorway.

Everyone was shocked when one of the guards reappeared out of the opening seconds later, as this is not normal protocol. As he got through the door, the guard headed right for Marshall, much to the surprise of his mum!

What happened next was something that Marshall and his mum were never expecting in a million years! This could not have been a better fourth birthday present for him!
