When most of us drive past a police officer, the last thing we want to do is draw attention to ourselves. However, that’s exactly what the 6 year-old boy in this story did!

Jaxon Siderius was sitting in the back of his mother’s car when he saw a police officer and immediately asked his mother to pull over. Since the Siderius family was on their way to the lake, his mother Anna was surprised by his request. She was even more taken aback because she knew that Jaxon had been deeply affected by negative stories about police officers that were in the press.

Despite her surprise, Anna decided to do what her son asked and pull over. She took out her phone to record what happened when her shy little boy approached the Montana Highway Patrol officer. Jaxon had a clear objective, and what he did next is going viral. Without hesitating, the little boy took the officer’s hand and asked him to join him in prayer.

It’s clear that faith is very important to Jaxon and that Anna has raised her son right! Despite all the negativity that is spread in the media about police these days, Jaxon was able to look past all of that when he walked up to this cop.
