Pets can be a huge blessing in the lives of their owners. Their unconditional love can lift our spirits even on our worst day, but there are times that our pets aren’t exactly the adorable animal that we bargained for.

One dog named Ettore learned that he hadn’t lived up to his owner’s expectations when Anthony began scolding him for a recent crime. In the video below, Anthony is seen disciplining the dog and trying to keep a straight face while giving his furry friend the what for.

The dog doesn’t like what is happening and tries to charm Anthony into forgiving his bad behavior. It doesn’t take long before Anthony begins to smile and do just that, and you’ll understand why when you watch the video.

Ettore is obviously guilty and knows he messed up, but he has also figured out the way to his human’s heart. First he sets his paw on Anthony’s chest and cocks his head from side to side giving out the biggest, best puppy dog eyes ever.
