The traditional mother son dance can be one of the most emotional times of any wedding, but this one below might just be the most tearjerking dances I have ever seen!

Amy Winn was only 31 years-old when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), and from there, her health declined steadily over the course of the next two decades. MS is a progressive autoimmune disease that causes immune cells to malfunction and start attacking important nerve cells rather than viruses and bad bacteria.

Sadly, there is no cure for MS, and Amy eventually found herself confined to a wheelchair.

After watching his mother struggle with MS for twenty years, Stephen was worried about the traditional mother son dance when he decided to marry his wife Cassie, who tried to help him figure out the best course of action.

“My husband and I spent weeks trying to figure out how we could make the mother-son dance work with Amy,” Cassie recounted. “The night of the rehearsal dinner, we still hadn’t decided on what we were going to do.”

On the night of the wedding, Stephen stunned Cassie by telling her he was going to go forward with the dance.

“Stephen pulled me aside and said, ‘I’m gonna pick her up so she can really dance with me. Do not tell anyone. I want it to be a surprise,'” Cassie recounted.

Video of what happened during the dance has since gone viral, and it’s easy to see why.

“There wasn’t a dry eye in the house,” Cassie said.

Amy has a look of pure bliss on her face as her son lifts her out of her chair and dances with her! This is truly a moment nobody in this room will ever forget!
