Bella Graham is a 4 year-old girl who is being raised by her grandmother Laura Fisher. Sadly, Bella’s life changed forever when she was only 2 years-old, when her mother passed away from an illness that came on suddenly.

Though Laura’s grandmother has showered Bella with love since her mother’s death, the little girl still thinks of her mom all the time.

When she realized that the birthday of her mother was approaching, Bella told her grandma that she wanted to send her mother a birthday cake for her to eat in Heaven. Wanting to make Bella happy, Laura took matters in her own hands and hatched a plan to make her wish come true.

Laura contacted her local post office and told them about Bella’s wish, telling them that the little girl was becoming increasingly stressed that her mother would not have a birthday cake to eat in Heaven. Though the post office told Laura that they wanted to help however they could, she never thought they would go this far in helping the little girl that she loved so much!

Laura ended up taking Bella to a baker, telling the child that he would bake a birthday cake for her to send to her mother in Heaven. Bella ended up with a beautiful two-tiered birthday cake that she helped her grandma box up. Once they had done this, they headed to the post office!

When they arrived, Bella and Laura found that workers had set up a special line specifically for deliveries to Heaven. They stamped the box carefully and promised Bella that it would reach her mother in time for her birthday! Bella was overjoyed that her mother would be getting the cake that she had worked so hard to send to her, and were sure her mother was looking down on her very proud!
