When Indiana Officer Levi Knach arrived for his official photo to be shot, he had no idea his K9 officer was about to steal the entire show!

Dressed in his official uniform and badge, Knach arrived ready to take a nice photo. With is K-9 partner Kenobi sitting besides him, Knach was hoping they would get a “we’re tough” type of an official photo, but his K-9 had other ideas.

Kenobi did manage to keep sitting next to the officer, but instead of looking into the camera, he starts trying to cuddle with Knach! The officer tries to ignore the dog, doing his best to maintain his stoic and strong look.

Knach’s job is very important to him, as he had wanted to be a conservation officer with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources since he was a child.

Even this dedicated officer could not maintain his composure in this situation for long, however, and it wasn’t long before Knach was breaking down into laughter at Kenobi’s antics. Though they were finally able to get a serious photo at the end, it is the other photos that really show how much these two officers love each other.

When he’s on duty, Kenobi is all business, but off the clock, he loves nothing more than cuddling with Knach! He is a rescue dog who spent the early part of his life chained up in a yard. While he was at an animal shelter, he was discovered by the conservation officers who were looking for potential K-9 dogs to train. Kenobi was a fast learner, and now he excels at his job every day!
