We’ve all faced the same dilemma when taking a fitted sheet out of the dryer. The question is, do you want to try to fold this ridiculously shaped linen into a tight, flat rectangle, or just wad it into a ball to avoid this frustrating process altogether?

Most of us find ourselves somewhere in the middle of the two options after getting frustrated at how impossible folding this sheet is. That’s why it has come as such a relief that Jill Cooper of Living on a Dime has come forward with a foolproof way of folding the sheets in under two minutes.

The key behind Jill’s strategy is making sure that the corners are tucked in. She suggests that you fit one corner into the other right at the very beginning, which makes the rest of the folding process go a whole lot more smoothly!

Once you have folded in the corners, you will see how much easier it is to fold the rest of the sheet. It’s almost like you are folding just a normal flat sheet!

Make sure you carry out Jill’s process on a flat surface, as this will make it easier to smoothen and straighten as you go.

Jill also recommends that you store the folded fitted sheet, along with the top sheet and any additional pillow cases, right inside of one of the pillow cases to keep the entire sheet set in one neat bundle.
