Craig and Carrie Kosinski had just gotten married when a friend of theirs reached out to them saying that she could not take care of her twin baby girls. The friend asked the Kosinskis to take her babies, and they agreed to do so on a trial basis at first. However, they quickly became very attached to the twins and decided to adopt them.

One year later, the friend reached out to the Kosinskis again after she gave birth to another set of twins, and she asked them to take the new babies as well. Craig and Carrie were in the middle of trying to get pregnant with a biological child, so this was a very difficult decision for them.

“It was a difficult decision. We were trying to get pregnant ourselves. But they were siblings so that was definitely part of our consideration,” Carrie said. “We wanted to keep the siblings together.”

The couple ended up deciding to adopt the second set of twins, and just one week later, Carrie learned she was pregnant! In a huge twist of fate, she ended up giving birth to twins, which meant the Kosinskis were now raising three sets of twins!

In another bizarre coincidence, all three sets of twins were born on February 28, which indicates that this really was meant to be!

“God has a sense of humor,” Carrie said.
