If you’re anything like me, you love strawberries and can’t wait to grab as many as you can when you head to the supermarket!

This fruit is packed with numerous vitamins and minerals, including antioxidants, vitamin C, folate, potassium, manganese, fiber, and magnesium.

Eating strawberries regularly can improve eyesight, brain function, high blood pressure, arthritis, gout, and several cardiovascular diseases.

This fruit has also been linked to boosting the immune system and preventing certain cancers, as well as premature aging.

On top of all that, strawberries are delicious, which is why it is such a bummer when they go bad and end up covered in mold just days after we purchase them.

Now, however, a farmer has offered a simple tip to make your strawberries last longer and keep them from going bad.

This hack can keep your strawberries fresh for one week or even two after you bring them home!

To do this hack, you will need white vinegar, water, and a Colander or salad spinner. First, pour 1/2 a cup of vinegar and 2 1/2 cups of water into a large bowl.

Once you have done this, soak the strawberries in the mixture for a few minutes, allowing the vinegar to get rid of all the mold spores and bacteria in the fruit.

It is this stuff that makes your strawberries spoil faster.

The water may look gross after your strawberries have soaked in it, but just remember that this nasty mold is no longer on your fruit!

After you have let the strawberries soak for a few minutes, dry them thoroughly, making sure you remove all the moisture.

Then, place your strawberries in your fridge on a paper towel, which will help absorb any extra moisture the strawberries might produce.

This little trick will keep your strawberries fresh and delicious for quite some time!

It really is that simple!
