Everyone loves getting a gift every now and then, and even as adults, some toys are still irresistible. We just can’t help but play with them. Snipes the beautiful brown and white horse is no exception.

Snipes owner has always provided toys for him in his pen and she says that each day he spends time kicking and knocking around balls and throwing and playing with toys. She says he loves all sorts of play and isn’t usually too picky about what he plays with.

One toy, however, was always his favorite. He had a red rope toy that he played with nearly every day. He kept it on the gate by the barn, but when he went to get it one day, it was gone. In it’s place was a brand new toy and Snipes wasn’t too sure about it.

Equine Wellness Magazine says that horses have an innate love of play. They will gallop, run, and play across an open pasture, and will play with all sorts of items if given the opportunity. Snipes was definitely a playful horse.

When he approached the gate to get his red rope toy, in its place was a plush, yellow ducky. His old toy had gotten worn out and his owner decided it was time to replace it, but she wasn’t sure of what Snipes would think of the new replacement.

In the video below, you can see Snipes sniff it over and size up the yellow ducky toy. Eventually, he decides maybe it isn’t so bad after all and picks it up and gives it a toss onto the ground. Before you know it, Snipes is having the time of his life with the new toy. Just check out his playful reaction in the video below.
