When 27 year-old Benjamin Spasogevich-Lee moved to a suburban neighborhood full of families in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the locals immediately thought he was creepy. Benjamin told his neighbors that his name was Elijah and that he lived with his mother, but nobody ever saw her.

People got even more wary of him when he began doing yoga outside his house wearing only his underwear, and when adults were not around, he would approach young children in the area and ask them inappropriate questions.

Jada Miller, 12, immediately noticed something off about Benjamin, and she tried to stay as far away from him as she could. One day, however, she was forced to get up close and personal with Benjamin when she saw him doing the unthinkable to a little girl.

Jada was stunned to look out her living room window and see Benjamin snatching 4 year-old Caylee Carr and start to walk away with her. Realizing she had to act fast, Jada scrambled out her front door to confront him.

Jada did not have time to call the police, as she knew she could not let Benjamin out of her sight with the little girl. Jada bravely ran up to Benjamin and grabbed Caylee’s hand, telling the little girl that they were going home. Jada then grabbed the girl and ran down the street with her, trying to get away from Benjamin as fast as she could. Caylee’s father had just called the police when he saw his daughter was missing, and he could not thank Jada enough for saving his little girl.
