Disney World is the place that many children dream of being able to visit one day. So when a little girl named Daisy finally got to go make her dreams come true, her experience became more than she ever expected when she got to meet her favorite Disney princess, Belle.

Daisy was born with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. Because of her condition, Daisy has endured multiple surgeries to her neck, back, and legs. After watching Daisy handle the surgeries like a champ, a nurse at Children’s Health in Houston, Texas, nominated Daisy for the Make-A-Wish program.

Make-A-Wish Foundation stepped in and sent Daisy and her family on an amazing trip to the Magic Kingdom. Daisy is just seven-years-old, but has always loved Belle from “Beauty and the Beast.” To prepare for her trip, Daisy dressed up in a yellow Belle dress and matching tiara.

When Daisy got to meet the “real” Belle in person at Disney World, her surprise speaks for itself. Daisy is brought to tears just meeting her beloved Princess, but when Belle asks Daisy one question, Daisy couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

Although the characters at Disney aren’t supposed to break character and are only to act the part of the character they are portraying, Daisy touched Belle so much that she just couldn’t resist doing something special for the amazing little girl.

Belle asked Daisy if she could take her on a tour of France, and Daisy couldn’t have been happier. She was crying and jumping up and down with excitement. The little princess in training couldn’t believe that her favorite princess wanted to spend more time with her.

Daisy’s experience is proof that Disney really can make dreams come true!
